Monday, Monday – hello again. How was everyone’s weekend?
Last weekend we finally removed all our Christmas decoration. Yes, you are right… we were late, but our Christmas boxes are all kept in our loft and it is a bit of a hassle to get them down. Plus there was so much going on, we simply didn’t have the time to take it down, so we kept postponing it. Now they are all gone, apart from one lovely light chain that I don’t want to get rid of just yet as the days are still short and I enjoy the atmosphere it gives our living room.
The weather here in London was pretty bad with freezing cold temperatures and icy rain, which was perfect for lazy and cosy time at home. Apart from binge watching Peaky Blinders, playing a ton of board games, we also looked for easy vegan recipes to try out over the next couple of weeks. I will let you know in one of my next posts which ones we particularly enjoyed.
I wore the outfit in my pictures when we met with friends for a late lunch. It was one of those days when I stood in front of my (full) closet, thinking I don’t have anything to wear. Who doesn’t know this feeling?!
Sometimes when I think of black and white outfits it reminds me on those days when I worked for a catering service during my student years when I always had to wear black trousers and a white shirt. By adding the handbag with the brown flap and a different pattern with the striped sweater, it gives the whole outfit a different feel, even though it is mainly black and white.
I’ve put together some bits and pieces for you to create a similar look if you like.
Hope you all will have a great week!
